ARAULLO UNIVERSITY: PAST AND PRESENT

                                

STARTING FROM AN OBSESSION TO A LAW SCHOOL

     Originally founded in 1950 as a law school by the late JUDGE LAURO S. ESTEBAN, who was obsessesd with a pioneering mission to make law education accessible to countryside students aspiring to become lawyers.

     Named after former Supreme Court Judge  Manuel Araullo, the first Filipino Court of First Instance Judge of Nueva Ecija, whose capital town was then Cabanatuan, Araullo Law School registered twenty-three enrolees during its first year of operation.

      Conceived as non-sectarian, co-educational and multiple-ownership private school, she gives primary to the intellectual, physical, social and moral development of individuals.

      HUMBLE BEGINNING TO GREATNESS

      As enrolment steadily rose up to record height ang goodwill soared up, plants and facilities expanded while courses diversified. She leveled off into a college under the style Araullo Lyceum 1984 when she was elevated to a University status.

      Currently, she offers a complete array of courses and disciplines from pre-elementary education to elementary grades, high school to undergraduate courses and graduate to post graduate studies. Consequently, she is now a learning and training center for basic or lower education, secondary education, technical and skills education and tertiary or higher education.

      Distinguishing itself as an educational landmark, the University was cited, as the "Most Outstanding Institution in Central Luzon' region by the league of provincial governors. The Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE), through its nationwide survey, listed the University as one of the Top Forty Private Schools in the country.

      With accredited courses, she is about one of the few school in the country that is uniquely endowed with on-going exchange programs with South Korean schools and institutions generously benefitting annually more than fifty teachers, employees and students with travel and study grants abroad at no expense on their part.

      These guiding values served as keys of access to success.

      The University can now claim unparalleled performance for having turned graduates and learners into professionals and trained workers, topnotchers and passers in licensure board examinations, champion athletes, and outstanding leaders occupying positions of leadership in the executive, legislative and judiciary branches of government including the military and police agencies.

          ALWAYS MAKING THE DIFFERENCE

      Never were there any dramatic changes of such impact, influence and magnitude that ever hit the development profile of the Province of Nueva Ecija, Cabanatuan City and other places.

      From the rank of her alumni, mentors and officials are being drawn men and women serving the people and communities. Magistrates, Judges, Prosecutors, Trial Lawyers, Accountant, Engineers, Architects, Educators, Nurses, Police Officers, Military Officers.

      A good number are legislators and executives. A Senator, Congressmen, Mayors, Board Members, Councilors, Head of Offices, Superintendent, Supervisors, Principals.

      The rest are business or community and civic leaders. Presidents, Bankers, Financiers, Investors, Proprietors, Enterpreneurs, Managers, Administrators, Consultants, Directors, Contractors, Builders, Designers, Model Citizens.

      Collectively, these achievers provide the difference.
