Manila, Philippines was the site of three major meetings during the latter part of May 1999. A mini Because Of The Times , Leadership Development International, and the Philippine National Conference all convened within one week, and climaxed with a Sunday afternoon crusade.
Over 2,000 attended the sessions and 14 nations were represented. Great glory filled the place as inspired preaching, instructional teaching and prayer/praise went forth. The presence of God broke in on the second day and the program was laid aside as the people entered into deep prayer and intercession for over two hours. Much of this time was directed toward interceding for the nations.
At the Sunday afternoon crusade on May 30th, 18-20,000 people filled the arena, while many more were unable to get in. More than 800 were filled with the Holy Ghost as it fell in waves of glory and power. There were more in the upper areas of the arena who were prevented by the security guards from coming to the front, but were not hindered in receiving the Holy Ghost. Many miracles took place. The most outstanding was a lady with a visibly large abdominal tumor that instantly disappeared.
